Director, Global Compliance

For a leader in the Finance & Insurance space, this role provides business-aligned guidance focused on governance, compliance, and operational risk management. You will partner with leaders, compliance stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate complex issues into practical recommendations, strengthening responsible execution, improving decision-making, and supporting sustainable growth within a regulated financial services environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Design and implement the company's global compliance program
• Develop long-term compliance strategy and governance framework
• Create policies and controls to support organizational growth
• Draft and maintain global compliance policies and procedures
• Conduct compliance due diligence during M&A activities
• Develop compliance KPIs and executive reporting dashboards
• Foster relationships across the organization, advising leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; legal degree not necessary
• 8-12+ years of progressive compliance or regulatory experience
• Proven ability to build or transform compliance programs
• Experience in global compliance across various jurisdictions
• Strong skills in governance framework development and internal controls
• Experience in leading internal investigations and ethics programs
• Exceptional project management and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Pay

$150,000 – $180,000 annually
