Director, Global Banking Markets, Business Architect

Purpose

The Director of Business Architecture plays a pivotal role in shaping and aligning strategic business capabilities across Global Banking and Markets (GBM). This leader will define and maintain the target operating model, align business capabilities to strategic objectives and partner closely with technology, operations, risk and front-office stakeholders to enable transformation across global markets, corporate banking and capital markets business.

• No direct reports, however, scope for influence across the business transformation team and GBM Technology teams

Education & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in business architecture, strategy, or transformation within capital markets or financial services
• Deep understanding of GBM products, services, and regulatory environment
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and communication skills
• Experience with business architecture tools (e.g., BizzDesign, Ardoq, Sparx EA) and frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, BIZBOK)
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred
• Experience working in a matrixed, global organization
• Familiarity with agile delivery models and product-centric operating models
• Ability to bridge business and technology domains with clarity and precision

Working Conditions
