About the role

We're seeking a Director of FP&A to lead the financial planning and analysis efforts for Capital One Shopping. This role will be pivotal in shaping the financial trajectory and operating model of a rapidly scaling business.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leadership to assess the financial implications of strategic growth initiatives.

  • Develop and present insightful financial and business performance reporting for senior leadership audiences.

  • Champion cost optimization initiatives with cross-functional teams.

  • Anticipate and resolve complex financial challenges.

  • Drive short and long-term forecast planning routines.

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or other quantitative discipline, or military experience.

  • At least 7 years of experience in Finance, Business Analytics, Accounting, Strategy Consulting, or a combination.

  • At least 4 years’ experience managing a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function.

  • At least 3 years of people management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Finance.

  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.

  • 8+ years’ experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).

  • 5+ years’ experience managing a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function.

  • 4+ years of people management experience including both direct & indirect reports.
