Director for Human Resources

About the role

The Director of Human Resources is responsible for overseeing all aspects of employee relations, recruitment, training, and development within the Cheyenne Mountain School District.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and employee relations.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures that support the mission and values of the district.
• Manage the hiring process from start to finish, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
• Provide guidance and support to employees on workplace issues and conflicts.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws and regulations.

Requirements

• A Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Human Resources, Education, Psychology).
• Criminal background check required for hire.

Qualifications

• Experience in human resources management.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

Skills

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

• Salary Range: $140,483 - $161,269 based on education and experience.

Schedule

• Days: 230 days/year
