Director for Development

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to clarify priorities, solve operational challenges, and move important work forward. Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of major gift prospects and cultivate donor relationships
• Identify new donation prospects through research and networks
• Engage with donors face-to-face and develop actionable solicitation plans
• Submit major gift proposals aligned with fundraising priorities, targeting gifts of $100,000 or more
• Collaborate with colleagues on donor engagements and fundraising strategies
• Prepare proposals and materials to ensure timely donor acknowledgment
• Represent UW Tacoma at donor engagements and campus events

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 5 years of experience in development, especially frontline fundraising
• Demonstrated track record in soliciting and stewarding major gifts
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential
• Experience in meeting defined fundraising goals and using metrics to track progress

Pay

$108,000 – $120,000 annually
