Director Finance Cloud Applications Support

Lead a team managing the suite of Oracle ERP products, including Finance, Supply Chain, and Project Portfolio Management, with a foundational understanding of the Oracle Cloud EPM suite. Responsible for all cloud application support, day-to-day information system application activities, personnel management, and implementation of new applications or methodologies. Oversee finance IT systems, leading a team of business analysts (onshore, offshore, and third-party vendors), and serve as the application owner for the Oracle ERP Cloud suite and other supporting finance systems. Direct daily operations and strategic initiatives while balancing steady-state operations and future implementations.

Responsibilities

• Perform management responsibilities, including hiring, termination decisions, coaching, development, rewards, recognition, performance management, and staff productivity.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct, and control day-to-day operations; develop and implement policies and programs; may include budgetary responsibility.
• Design and lead the implementation and maintenance of the finance system and solutions portfolio based on finance business strategy, capabilities, and requirements.
• Coordinate implementation of system enhancements and quarterly cloud upgrades to ensure optimal system performance, data integrity, and reliability.
• Ensure financial modules operate effectively and efficiently, with quality measures in place and routinely monitored.
• Build and develop a highly skilled team with deep cloud technology expertise, both onshore and offshore.
• Manage relationships with major Finance IT vendors and service providers to ensure cost-effective solutions that meet organizational needs.
• Assess the technical and business fitness of the Finance IT services and solutions portfolio, rationalizing costs and risks to maximize business contribution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline.
• 7 years of experience managing successful projects and implementing technical solutions to business process problems across a Cloud technology platform.
• 5 years in a management or leadership role.
• 5 years with Oracle Cloud ERP applications or similar Cloud ERP technology (implementation and/or support).

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years as a corporate Financial Systems Leader, including experience directing multiple complex projects from formation through deployment and creative problem-solving for challenging business and accounting requirements.
• 3 years of experience building and developing offshore teams.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Oracle certifications.
• ITIL certification.

Working Conditions

Pay

Base pay range: $156,200.00 – $259,600.00. Determined by qualifications, experience, expected contributions, internal peer equity, market, and business considerations. Geographic differentials may apply for certain locations.
