About the role

The Director of Finance will provide strategic leadership and direct all financial operations, planning, and analysis, ensuring fiscal health, sustainability, and adherence to sound accounting principles and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee key financial functions including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and treasury management.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies, provide actionable insights to executive leadership, and manage and develop the finance team.
  • Ensure data integrity, maintain internal controls, coordinate audits, and monitor financial performance for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
  • Implement reports to assist leaders with understanding and evaluating the performance of their business units/clinics.
  • Provide quantitative and qualitative financial analysis in support of goals and objectives related to strategic initiatives.
  • Provide business analysis, and Direct special projects related to strategic growth and ongoing success.
  • Direct completion of financial analysis and reports for management team.
  • Aid Division Finance with preparation of the annual operating budget, rolling forecast, and long-range strategic financial plans.
  • Utilize Crowe RCA tool to prepare journal entries needed at month-end for A/R reserves.

Requirements

  • Masters in Finance, Accounting, Business, Healthcare Administration, and seven years of experience in the field, with five years of leadership experience.
  • Prior experience managing financial operations, building robust models, and communicating complex information effectively.
  • Proven ability to manage financial operations, strong business acumen, and a commitment to financial integrity.

Preferred

  • Meditech and Lawson experience.
  • Certified Public Accountant (TX, upon hire).
