Director Finance
About the role
The Director of Finance will lead the annual budgeting, long-range planning, and rolling forecast processes. The role involves developing and maintaining financial models to support business planning, investment decisions, and scenario analysis. This position partners with business leaders across the organization to provide strategic financial guidance and support key initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Analyze financial and operational performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver executive-level reporting, dashboards, and presentations for leadership.
- Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and variance analysis.
- Evaluate growth opportunities, capital investments, and business cases to support strategic objectives.
- Provide actionable insights through ad hoc financial analysis and reporting.
- Improve financial planning processes, reporting capabilities, and forecasting accuracy.
- Collaborate closely with Accounting, Operations, and other business functions to ensure alignment between financial and operational goals.
- Contribute to special projects, strategic initiatives, and organizational planning efforts as needed.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 8+ years of progressive finance, FP&A, corporate finance, or related experience.
- Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and management reporting.
- Proven ability to translate financial data into meaningful business recommendations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.
Work Environment
The finance team generally works between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM, with core collaboration hours during that timeframe to support team members located across the country. While flexibility is offered, occasional extended hours may be required during budgeting cycles, forecasting periods, month-end close activities, or other time-sensitive business needs. Onsite in Eden Prairie.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $48.00/hr.
