Director, Finance

About the role

The Director, Finance position at Adventist Health Ukiah is responsible for assisting with accounting, budgeting, reimbursement, and administration. They ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of all departmental operations, develop and maintain budgets, revise policies and procedures, staff, quality assessment/improvement, and ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes and identifies any trends that affect quality of services, implements corrective plan of action including new or modified programs, additional training or any measure to improve quality.
• Aids in the development and implementation of annual budget for the department.
• Collaborates with leadership to ascertain training and education needs and to develop education goals for the workforce, partners and customers.
• Contributes to the development and implementation of overall programs/activities.
• Prepares and analyzes various financial reports for internal and external purposes.
• Serves as a resource agent for departmental personnel, providing guidance, feedback, and problem-solving strategies.
• Implements progressive discipline and accurately documents all information.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Education and Work Experience: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
• Master's Degree: Preferred
• Seven years' experience: Preferred
• Five years' leadership experience: Preferred

Essential Functions

• Pay Range : The estimated base pay for this position is $132,384 to $198,577. Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
