This role will provide business-aligned guidance focused on governance, compliance, and operational risk management within the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech industry. You will partner with leaders, compliance stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate complex issues into practical recommendations, strengthening responsible execution, improving decision-making, and supporting sustainable growth.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teams to shape company policies aligned with federal regulations
- Analyze proposed legislation for potential business impacts
- Define and recommend positions on policy issues and legislation
- Monitor and influence public policy to enhance business outcomes
- Educate government officials on critical industry topics and initiatives
- Work with internal units to align government affairs strategies with business goals
- Represent the company in trade associations to promote corporate strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 15-18 years of relevant experience, including 10+ years in management
- Proven track record with federal lawmakers and policy influencers
- Experience presenting to and communicating with senior-level stakeholders
- Knowledge of and adherence to federal compliance and legislative processes
- Strong analytical ability for interpreting complex legislation and regulations
- Exceptional relationship-building and leadership skills across diverse teams

Pay
$187,400 – $281,000 annually
