About the role
Juniper Square is seeking a Director of Expansion & Powered Admin Services to lead a dedicated expansion organization. The role has two connected mandates: driving expansion across the installed base by cross-selling products and services, and developing Powered Admin Services, an emerging channel where third-party fund administrators license or white-label Juniper Square technology.
Responsibilities
- Carry the expansion ARR quota as a working seller, running deals in your own accounts from day one.
- Build and own the pipeline from the installed base, defining the expansion motion and prioritizing account plans.
- Operationalize lead flow from the installed base, working with Fund Administration, Customer Success, and other teams.
- Scope and develop Powered Admin Services, identifying targets, defining packaging, and structuring pilots.
- Build and lead a team of dedicated expansion sellers, owning ramp plans, pipeline reviews, and deal coaching.
- Work with cross-functional teams to establish clean account-ownership rules and feed marketing with expansion campaign segments.
- Own the expansion dashboard, reporting on pipeline, ARR, attach rates, and adoption-to-paid conversion, and refining the model quarterly.
- Integrate AI as core infrastructure, redesigning workflows to create efficiency.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in SaaS or fintech revenue roles with expansion or installed-base selling experience and a track record of hitting quotas.
- Experience building a land-and-expand motion, including usage-based lead scoring and adoption-first selling.
- People-leadership experience, including building a team from zero and maintaining a player-coach operating style.
- Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to operate in a rapidly evolving environment.
- Fluency in Salesforce and the ability to define requirements for RevOps and data tooling.
- Demonstrated use of AI to create efficiency in a revenue organization.
Strong Plus
- Experience selling technology to fund administrators or working in a SaaS business serving fund administrators.
- Private markets experience or experience selling financial technology to institutional buyers.
- Exposure to selling alongside a services organization, considering margin, capacity, and delivery constraints.
- Experience standing up a white-label, OEM, or powered-by partnership motion.
Compensation
The U.S. base salary range for this role is $160,000 - $200,000. Actual base salaries will be based on candidate-specific factors, including experience, skillset, and location, and local minimum pay requirements as applicable.
