Director Enterprise Program and Project Management

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Director Enterprise Program and Project Management to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This leader will guide enterprise program and project management efforts that support strategic priorities, governance, and measurable execution across the organization. The role will shape portfolio management practices, help advance a product-oriented operating model, and turn complex program information into clear direction for senior leaders. You will partner closely with executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align enterprise initiatives, drive accountability, and improve decision-making in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a high-performing program and project management team
• Advance strategic portfolio management practices for alignment with enterprise strategy
• Champion product-oriented operating models across the organization
• Influence senior and executive leaders on enterprise priorities and trade-offs
• Drive alignment across cross-functional teams for complex initiatives
• Oversee complex programs ensuring governance and accountability for outcomes
• Translate complex portfolio information into actionable insights for leaders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of relevant functional experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Experience managing complex projects, programs, or portfolios
• Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies
• Proven ability to lead through ambiguity and organizational change
