Responsibilities
- Set and enforce data governance policy and standards company-wide
- Establish and enforce data contracts as a gate before data ingestion
- Own schema-registration and versioned change processes
- Drive centralization of data transformation logic in the data model layer
- Lead end-to-end PII governance, including identification and tagging of sensitive data
- Establish data-quality standards and monitoring metrics for visibility
- Manage master data for core enterprise entities and ensure data reconciliation
- Develop and grow the data governance team, maintaining daily operational standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 12 years of related experience or 8+ years with an advanced degree
- Expertise in data management and governance, including data contracts and policy
- Strong ability to negotiate data ownership across internal and external teams
- Hands-on technical experience with data profiling and SQL proficiency
- Demonstrated use of AI for data governance and investigation
- Solid understanding of PII classification and role-based access controls
- Experience leading governance programs alongside digital transformations

Pay
$167,200 – $220,000 annually
