Director, Enterprise Data Governance

Responsibilities

• Develop the company’s multi-year enterprise data strategy aligned with corporate priorities
• Assess current data management maturity using recognized frameworks
• Design and implement an enterprise data governance framework
• Operationalize the Data Governance Council
• Develop and enforce enterprise data policies covering quality, access, and compliance
• Conduct periodic data governance assessments and drive improvement plans
• Lead and develop the governance team, fostering a culture of data accountability

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data management, data governance, data strategy, or a closely related field; 4+ years in a leadership role
• Proven experience building and operationalizing enterprise data governance frameworks
• Track record developing enterprise data strategies successfully in large organizations
• Experience conducting data maturity assessments and implementing improvement plans
• Deep familiarity with data governance frameworks and standards such as DAMA DMBOK or DCAM
• Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills

Pay

$230,000 – $368,000 annually
