Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development & execution of the Company’s enterprise digital communications ecosystem (intranet, websites, and social media channels) and associated content governance with alignment to business priorities, brand standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead issues management and crisis/emergency communications capabilities in coordination with Communications Business Partners, Executive Communications, Crisis Communications, Community Relations and the broader communications team to ensure effective incident communications readiness and response.
- Develop and oversee the Company’s enterprise media relations strategy and act as a primary spokesperson for high-impact and high-visibility media engagements.
- Oversee the Company’s corporate paid media strategy and the integrated use of paid, earned, owned, and shared channels. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize investments, oversee agency work, and optimize campaigns using performance insights.
- Advise the establishment of escalation protocols and response playbooks; in partnership with internal communications organizations, law, Investor Relations, and other stakeholders.
- Manage the development, review, and governance of enterprise narrative content, including annual enterprise reporting materials and core corporate profile content, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with disclosure requirements.
- Advise and influence senior leaders on high-visibility communications, including effective executive and leader social media engagement. Lead team in developing enterprise-level messaging frameworks across external audiences and in partnership with internal communications teams.
- Ensure that the Company’s broader strategy, core values, purpose, strengths, and vision are meaningfully demonstrated throughout all enterprise communications initiatives.
Experience And Education
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, business, or a related field required.
- Twelve (12) or more years of progressive communications experience, including enterprise digital communications, external communications, and reputation/issue management required.
- Two (2) or more years of experience managing professional staff and developing high-performing teams required.
- Periodic travel required.
