Director - EMR Applications

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and direction for service lines within the IS Application Services teams.
• Responsible for the design, evaluation, project planning, implementation and support of Piedmont Healthcare application systems for the assigned service lines.
• Responsible for the oversight and delivery of all applications that they are assigned.
• Serves as backup leader to Sr. Director.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors Degree in business administration, computer or information technology or a closely related field
• Required: Masters degree in business administration, computer or information technology, or a closely related field
• PREFERRED: Masters degree in business administration, computer or information technology, or a closely related field
• Work Experience: 7 years of progressively responsible professional work experience directing, leading and/or managing computer and information systems, or a closely related field, preferably in a multi-facility healthcare environment
• Required: 3 years Experience to include of management or supervisory experience
• Licenses and Certifications: None Required
• Certification in ITIL methodologies: PREFERRED
