Director - Emergency Department

Job Summary

The Director provides strategic and operational leadership for the assigned nursing department, ensuring delivery of safe, high-quality, patient- and family-centered care. The Director is responsible for staff management, budget oversight, regulatory compliance, and achievement of departmental goals. This role partners with physicians, hospital leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes, promote professional practice, and support continuous improvement within the organization.

Preferred Experience

• Five (5) years’ standard-level licensed experience in applicable department (Ex. Registered Nurse, BH Clinician).
• Two (2) years of supervisory, management, or charge experience

Licenses and Certifications

• Current State of Alaska Registered Nursing License
• BLS

Salary

$139,630.40 annually and up DOE
