Director - Electric Department

Responsibilities

• Leading daily operations and long-range planning of the City's generation, transmission, and distribution systems.
• Managing an annual operating budget of approximately $35 million.
• Overseeing 18 employees and fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and professional growth.
• Negotiating wholesale power purchase agreements and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Advising City leadership on rate structures, infrastructure investments, and policy decisions.

Compensation
