Director DSD (Direct Store Delivery) Excellence at Bimbo Bakeries USA, leading operational excellence for the DSD network.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement across DSD operations, focusing on efficiency, service levels, and cost optimization.
• Develop and implement best practices for route execution, warehouse operations, and delivery standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Logistics, Finance) to align DSD strategies with business objectives.
• Monitor KPIs and performance metrics to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
• Lead change management initiatives to enhance DSD processes and technology adoption.
• Provide leadership and coaching to DSD teams to foster a culture of operational excellence.
• Partner with regional leadership to ensure consistent execution of DSD standards nationwide.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in DSD operations, logistics, or supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of driving operational improvements in a large-scale DSD or route distribution environment.
• Strong analytical skills with experience using data to inform decision-making.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience with change management and process optimization initiatives.
• Willingness to travel as needed (up to 30%).
