Director Donor Engagement - Hybrid
About the role
Responsible for planning, creating, implementing and promoting a culture of gratitude through a comprehensive, strategic donor relations program, including gift acknowledgment, gift stewardship, donor recognition and donor engagement to further Providence's fundraising goals in Southern California.
Responsibilities
- Build and mentor a team of dedicated donor relations professionals to steward all gifts and recognize and engage donors, with a strong emphasis on major and principal gifts.
- Implement a comprehensive donor relations program that includes gift acknowledgment, gift stewardship, donor recognition and donor engagement.
- Work closely with Providence caregivers to ensure their voices are heard and their contributions are valued.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (i.e., English, history, communications, humanities)
- 10 or more years experience in stewardship/donor relations
- 8 years leadership experience
- Driving may be necessary as part of this role

- Master's Degree in a related field (i.e., English, history, communications, humanities)

Pay
The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
