  • Excellence: Bias toward Action & Continuous Improvement
  • Authentic: Individual & Team Ownership of Results
  • Team Centered: Collaborative Success (Strength in Numbers)

Responsibilities

  • Bridge the gap between high-level enterprise strategy and day-to-day operational execution.
  • Serve as the executive relationship owner for our Third-Party Logistics (3PL) partners and the mastermind behind our global logistics, inventory control, and trade compliance.
  • Establish and govern rigorous Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for our global 3PL partners to guarantee exceptional On-Time In-Full (OTIF) performance.
  • Drive maximum efficiency in retail store transfer windows, Return to Warehouse (RTW), and Return to Vendor (RTV) processes to optimize stock rotation.
  • Maintain a relentless focus on cost-per-shipment and operational velocity across all fulfillment channels.
  • Serve as the absolute owner of our global inbound logistics matrix, optimizing Incoterms (FOB, FCA, EXW), freight forwarder networks, and booking processes.
  • Act as Rhone’s internal subject matter expert on trade compliance, customs clearance, global tariff/duty mitigation, and HTS (Harmonized Tariff Schedule) classification databases.
  • Engineer end-to-end landed cost strategies, meticulously accounting for freight, tariffs, duties, and international tax impacts.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across all warehouse processes, systems integrations, and parcel execution, constantly pushing the brand Forever Forward.
  • Enforce strict Advanced Shipping Notice (ASN) compliance with international manufacturing partners to accelerate dock-to-stock timelines.
  • Scale our international shipping footprint and optimize domestic small parcel carrier contracts to balance premium service with cost-efficiency.
  • Oversee absolute inventory integrity between our NetSuite ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and warehouse WMS platforms, owning the reconciliation and FIFO (First-In, First-Out) synchronization.
  • Drive monthly inventory financial reporting, quarterly cycle counts, and annual physical inventory audits in lockstep with our Finance team.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies with strict root-cause analysis, taking full accountability for implementing corrective, long-term actions.
  • Partner closely with Wholesale, Retail, and E-commerce leaders to align distribution capacity, support demand planning, and solve complex fulfillment challenges.
  • Champion Wholesale Excellence by aligning with major trading partners, ensuring flawless execution of Value-Added Services (VAS) and strict routing guides to eliminate vendor chargebacks.
  • Collaborate with the Planning team to strategically manage liquidation channels, tailored/hemming inventory programs, and tax-compliant processes for damaged goods disposal or duty drawback recovery.

Qualifications

  • Experienced Leader: 8–10+ years of progressive leadership experience in distribution, 3PL management, and international logistics ideally within an Omni-channel consumer goods environment (apparel or footwear experience is a major plus).
  • Systems Expert: Advanced, high-level proficiency with NetSuite (or a comparable enterprise ERP) and tier-1 Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Technical Strategist: Deep expertise in HTS codes, global customs compliance, duty drawbacks, international freight forwarding, and high-volume small parcel contract negotiations.
  • Culturally Aligned: Choose Courage Over Comfort when facing ambiguity, believe in Strength in Numbers when collaborating across teams, and are fundamentally driven by an internal clock that prioritizes execution and accountability.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or a related business field. An MBA or industry certifications (like APICS / CSCP) is a strong plus.
