Director, Distribution and Logistics

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Distribution and Logistics to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will lead U.S. distribution and logistics operations with a strong emphasis on compliant, reliable delivery in a regulated environment. The Director will oversee third-party logistics partners, protect product integrity throughout the supply chain, and help scale distribution strategy to support business growth. This is a highly cross-functional position focused on operational excellence, continuous improvement, and effective management of cold chain requirements. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $125,000 – $150,000 annually Responsibilities Own U.S. vaccine distribution operations to ensure reliable, compliant delivery. Lead third-party logistics partners to achieve performance goals. Manage supply flow to ensure on-time, in-full delivery and product integrity. Develop scalable distribution strategies to support business growth. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve supply chain efficiency. Oversee contracts and performance management for logistics providers. Ensure compliance with distribution quality and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Master's preferred. 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or regulated industry; vaccine experience preferred. 5+ years managing contracts with third-party logistics providers. Strong leadership experience managing remote teams. Deep knowledge of cold chain distribution and regulatory requirements. Familiarity with next-gen logistics technologies.
