Director, Disaster Human Services (REMOTE ROLE)

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert in disaster human services and emergency operations
• Lead emergency repatriation readiness and planning
• Guide multidisciplinary teams in disaster missions
• Support federal clients in operational planning and training
• Cook up with partners during emergency operations
• Deliver services using human-centered, trauma-informed approaches
• Communicate operational risks and improvement opportunities
• Develop briefings and reports for clients
• Contribute to business development and thought leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in emergency management, public administration, social work, public health, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in emergency management or disaster human services
• Experience leading federal human services emergency operations
• Knowledge of the National Response Framework and relevant federal disaster response structures
• Experience coordinating with governmental or nongovernmental partners
• Proven ability to develop emergency plans and operational guidance

Pay

$108,476 – $184,409 annually
