Director, Defined Contribution Specialist

About the role
This position involves driving gross sales and net new revenue within a specified territory, focusing on a group of approximately 250 to 300 Defined Contribution advisory practices. The DC Specialist will also partner with Janus Henderson retail wholesaler counterparts to support all other advisors pursuing Defined Contribution business.
Responsibilities
- Drive gross sales and net new revenue within the assigned territory.
- Partner with retail wholesalers to support all other advisors pursuing Defined Contribution business.
- Work closely with the Insurance and Retirement Group, Channel Marketing, and Distribution Strategy and Analysis to set objectives and prioritize opportunities.
- Deliver value-added services to plan sponsors, industry participants, and retirement-focused advisors.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Client-facing sales and/or product specialist experience.
- A college degree is required.
- Series 7 and Series 63 licenses are required.
- Other securities licenses may be required during the normal course of employment.
Qualifications
- An advanced degree (MBA) or professional designation (CFA or CFP) is preferred, but not required.

Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $180,000 - $200,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may vary.
