Responsibilities
- Build relationships with business leaders to understand how data is used and identify needs
- Shape a data management agenda aligned with the organization's strategic direction
- Resolve complex data issues in partnership with the business to improve data quality
- Lead the data quality program, enhancing monitoring and reducing data exceptions
- Manage metadata in data platforms to improve data accessibility and understanding
- Advance a shared semantic layer for clearer communication among teams
- Lead the data stewardship program to embed quality checks into daily operations
Qualifications
- 8+ years in data management, data quality, data governance, or related experience, including 3+ years leading teams
- Strong track record of translating business strategy into data outcomes
- Deep hands-on experience with data quality practices and tooling
- Experience leading cross-functional data communities such as data stewardship
- Knowledge of data governance aligned with regulatory standards
- Working familiarity with modern data platforms such as Databricks and cloud data warehouses
- Strong communication skills across diverse audiences, from business SMEs to regulators
