Director, Data Innovation & Strategy

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Data Innovation & Strategy to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will shape Commercial data innovation strategy and help guide the use of advanced analytics to support business priorities. You will partner closely with Commercial leadership to identify high-value opportunities, develop roadmaps, and translate ideas into measurable initiatives that drive impact. The position also requires a strong focus on emerging data trends and AI use cases, from early assessment through implementation. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $177,000 – $242,000 annually Responsibilities Define and maintain Commercial data and innovation roadmaps aligned with business strategy Serve as a strategic advisor to Commercial leadership on data innovation opportunities Identify and co-create high-value advanced analytics use cases across Commercial domains Create business cases that include value creation and success metrics for initiatives Monitor trends in data innovation and lead AI use cases from assessment to implementation Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Engineering, or a related field 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech Commercial analytics and data strategy roles Experience operationalizing data innovation and advanced analytics in Commercial settings Understanding of Commercial data domains including HCP, HCO, and patient data Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus mental health support Generous paid time off and family-forming benefits 401(k) plan with competitive company match and equity awards Access to a learning institute for skill building and mentorship Flexible work schedules with support for meaningful in-person collaboration Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
