Director, Data & Distribution Partnerships

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Data & Distribution Partnerships to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This role will lead strategic partnerships and commercial initiatives that expand data distribution channels and create scalable revenue opportunities. You will own a key partnership-focused business area, balancing P&L accountability, team leadership, and high-impact deal execution. The position partners closely with marketing and cross-functional stakeholders to build repeatable go-to-market motions and negotiate complex agreements. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Scale the data reseller business by managing the P&L and creating repeatable sales processes.
• Hire, coach, and manage sales AEs focused on the resale quota.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop demand generation strategies for the reseller business.
• Craft bespoke data agreements with high-value partners and build reusable templates.
• Lead new complex business development deals and actively participate in negotiations.
• Establish innovative distribution partnerships to reach companies at inception.
• Prioritize and define new distribution strategies within the first six months.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in business development or partnerships roles with a focus on unique commercial agreements.
• Experience managing or coaching quota-carrying teams while personally closing complex deals.
• Familiarity with both high-volume SKU structures and bespoke negotiations.
• A proven track record of creating new channels or commercial models from scratch.

Pay

$190,000 – $238,000 annually
