Director, Credential Management Product
About the role
Join our ever-evolving Credential Management team and help shape the future of global commerce. This team is focused on bringing together and unifying credentials across a large and complex payments ecosystem, enabling merchants and clients to adopt the highest standards of security, access, and control for payment credentials. Through our Vaulting-as-a-Service (VaaS) strategy, we are building agnostic capabilities that allow clients to access an incredibly powerful, flexible, and scalable credential vault regardless of where payments are processed.
In this role, you will develop deep and trusted relationships with key stakeholders across Global Payments and with our clients to advance solutions that simplify credential adoption, strengthen security, and unlock future commerce experiences.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the product strategy for Credential Management, including Vaulting-as-a-Service, unified credential services, credential portability, and related platform capabilities
- Oversee the development of secure, scalable, and acquirer-agnostic credential products that help merchants access, manage, and leverage credentials across gateways, processors, acquirers, and payment partners
- Deliver payment credentials thought leadership through webinars, podcasts, industry events, and written content
- Champion innovation in tokenization, credential vaulting, credential APIs, and emerging agentic payment capabilities using the latest technology to support future digital commerce experiences
- Ensure strong alignment with partners across Commercialization, Marketing, Product, Sales, Technology, and Operations to advance the strategy and commercialization of the product
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our clients’ needs and goals and how our credential management products enable those goals
- Stay in tune with current market trends and develop a vision for how to keep Global Payments products cutting edge
- Develop and manage a team of engaged and highly effective Product Managers and Product Owners
- Develop clear and compelling business cases and accurate forecasts
- Ad hoc special projects for senior management
Requirements
- 7+ years of product management experience
- 4+ years of experience in payments, tokenization, credential management, credential vaulting, authentication, or related fintech platform capabilities
- Experience leading Product Managers and owning strategy for enterprise-scale products
- Commercially savvy, with the ability to translate market trends, competitive insights, and client needs into differentiated product strategies, scalable offerings, compelling value propositions, and measurable commercial outcomes
- Very organized and detail-oriented; able to work with shifting priorities
- Passion for analyzing issues and devising efficiencies to improve client experience
- Experience in payments, tokenization, credential management, credential vaulting, authentication, or related fintech platform capabilities
- Ability to lead global product experts in developing industry-leading credential products that improve security, client flexibility, resiliency, and payment performance

Pay
For this full-time position, the good faith estimated annual salary range upon hire is $177,100.00–$267,400.00. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to offer based on the role’s responsibilities, level, and geographic location. The actual starting salary will be determined by a candidate’s experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Changes in work location may impact the final offered salary.
