Director, Corporate Development

For our client, a leader in the Consumer Technology space, we are seeking a Director of Corporate Development to join their team. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will collaborate across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions, influencing architecture, execution quality, and long-term growth.

Location: Remote – US-based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Own long-term corporate development strategy in collaboration with senior leadership
• Develop understanding of competitive landscape and emerging business models
• Source, evaluate, and prioritize acquisition and partnership opportunities
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of targets for strategic fit and financial return
• Lead all stages of the deal process from outreach and valuation to closing
• Monitor market trends and identify adjacency plays and opportunities
• Build senior-level relationships to enhance deal flow

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in corporate development, M&A, investment banking, private equity, or venture capital
• Strong understanding of Generative AI and Agentic Commerce
• Proven track record of sourcing, structuring, and closing acquisitions
• Deep network across private equity, venture capital, and corporate dealmakers
• Exceptional strategic thinking and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and influencing capabilities, particularly with executives and boards

$250,000 – $280,000 annually
