Duties/Responsibilities

  • Sustains relationships with key industry stakeholders and partners.
  • Identifies potential M&A, partnerships, and investment targets.
  • Tracks and analyzes market trends, competitive landscapes, policy developments, and emerging technologies.
  • Provides actionable insights and recommendations based on market intelligence and analysis.
  • Maintains and utilizes company databases and AI platforms for customer engagement and reporting.
  • Communicates the company’s strategic vision and objectives to internal teams and external partners.
  • Supports leadership in developing and refining the company’s long-term strategic plan.
  • Collaborates with finance colleagues on financial models and presentation materials.
  • Evaluates investment opportunities using financial metrics and conducts financial analysis.
  • Conducts due diligence processes and performs risk assessments and scenario analysis.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Cultivates and sustains strong relationships with industry partners and decision-makers.
  • Expertise in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and critical evaluation.
  • Understanding of energy market dynamics, particularly hydrocarbon transportation and logistics.
  • Experience in corporate development, strategic planning, and business development within the energy sector.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage projects effectively and prioritize multiple initiatives.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and quantitative analysis.
  • Strong ability to develop PowerPoint presentation materials.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of corporate development, M&A, business development, and/or investment banking experience.
