About the role
This position will be a member of the healthcare regulatory team and support the Revenue Operations Team, the business unit responsible for all components of the revenue cycle process.
Responsibilities
- Provide healthcare regulatory legal support for the Revenue Operations Team, and guidance on compliance with federal and state laws and healthcare regulations including the False Claims Act and Anti-Kickback Statute.
- Support day-to-day operations, and manage complex projects and strategic initiatives for the business.
- Manage business-specific projects by applying deep expertise in subject area, communicating with stakeholders, and promoting adherence to all procedures and policies.
- Assist with drafting advocacy and policy communications to state governmental agencies.
- Partner with Team Quest (Compliance), Government Affairs, Patient Resources, and other Legal teams.
Requirements
- J.D. Degree with four to six+ years of relevant healthcare regulatory experience.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and laws including but not limited to Anti-Kickback (AKS), FCA, HIPAA, and Stark.
- Must be admitted to practice and in good standing in at least one jurisdiction in the United States.
- Experience in project management within a healthcare company or law firm.
- Solutions-oriented with a focus on collaboration, continuous improvement, and sound judgment.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $97,000.00 - $153,000.00 per year. Compensation will depend on qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience. DaVita offers a competitive total rewards package, which includes a 401k match, healthcare coverage, and a broad range of other benefits.
