Director, Corporate Communications & Investor Relations
About the role
A leading strategic advisory firm specializing in healthcare and life sciences is seeking a Director of Corporate Communications & Investor Relations to support innovative public and private companies across the biotech, pharmaceutical, medtech, and healthcare sectors. This role is ideal for a communications professional who can navigate complex scientific and financial narratives, advise senior executives, and help organizations effectively engage with investors, analysts, media, and other key stakeholders. The successful candidate will play a central role in developing integrated communications and investor relations programs for companies at various stages of growth and commercialization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic corporate communications and investor relations programs
- Advise executive leadership teams on messaging, positioning, and stakeholder engagement
- Support earnings communications, financing announcements, transactions, and other corporate milestones
- Build compelling narratives that resonate with investors, analysts, media, and industry audiences
- Develop and refine corporate messaging, presentations, investor materials, and thought leadership content
- Monitor industry trends, market activity, and competitive developments
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the healthcare and investment communities
- Support business development and contribute to firm growth initiatives
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in corporate communications, investor relations, public relations, financial communications, or strategic advisory
- Healthcare, biotech, pharmaceutical, medtech, life sciences, or healthcare investment experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of capital markets and investor communications
- Exceptional writing, presentation, and executive counseling skills
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously
- Agency, consulting, in-house corporate communications, or investor relations experience welcome
