Director, Corporate Communications

About the role

This role will drive marketing initiatives focused on growth, customer acquisition, brand performance, and measurable demand creation. You will collaborate with analytics, product, creative, and commercial teams to turn market insights into scalable campaigns, testing strategies, and performance improvements. The position offers the opportunity to directly influence customer engagement, conversion performance, and revenue growth within a Technical Services environment.

Responsibilities

• Set strategy and execution for all corporate communications related to earnings, M&A, and news
• Build and lead project teams for significant communication moments, integrating various operational support
• Manage relationships with New York-based media, leading engagements with major financial outlets
• Oversee operational management and media activities during earnings reports, coordinating necessary materials
• Direct M&A communications from announcement to close, coordinating with internal stakeholders
• Serve as the Americas anchor for the corporate communications team, addressing escalated inquiries
• Support the Commercial Comms lead and contribute to AI communication workflows

Qualifications

• 12+ years in corporate communications or public relations, with in-house or agency experience
• Strong background in financial communications, particularly with publicly traded or pre-IPO companies
• Proven track record in M&A communications, with experience managing messaging and media
• Familiarity with AI sectors and a grasp of related media narratives
• Established relationships with top-tier financial and tech reporters, adept at narrative shaping
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, especially for senior executives
• Ability to operate autonomously and manage multiple priorities effectively
