Director, Continuous Improvement

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Continuous Improvement to join the team of a leader in the Energy & Utilities space. This leader will guide enterprise-wide continuous improvement efforts across multiple facilities, partnering closely with site leadership and senior stakeholders to align operational execution with business priorities. The role will focus on advancing Lean-based transformation, strengthening performance management, and building a culture of disciplined problem-solving. This is a highly visible opportunity to shape operational strategy, improve profitability and service, and develop CI capability across the organization. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $132,000 – $205,600 annually Responsibilities Partner with site leadership to align operational strategies with business objectives Facilitate annual and multi-year operational strategy execution Lead deployment of the business system across facilities Ensure improvement priorities align with growth, profitability, and service requirements Drive accountability for business objectives and key performance indicators Cultivate a culture that addresses performance gaps through structured problem-solving Collaborate with leadership to prioritize initiatives and resource allocation Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, marketing, operations, supply chain, or a related field; Master's preferred 10+ years of continuous improvement, manufacturing, or operations experience, particularly in leading Lean transformations Proficiency with CI tools such as value stream mapping, 6S, flow, and structured problem solving Black Belt in Lean/Continuous Improvement preferred Ability to lead, influence senior leaders, and manage cross-functional teams Experience developing CI talent through training and Gemba coaching Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with various stakeholders Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage Spending accounts, including HSA, Health Care FSA, and Dependent Care FSA Paid Time Off and holidays 401(k) retirement plan with matching contributions Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance Paid leaves Tuition assistance Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
