Hair growth is a skin issue before it is a hair issue, and every formula is designed to support the scalp environment at the level where growth begins. As a brand, our goal is to shift how the world thinks about hair loss, turning a once-taboo condition into a conversation of empowerment, care, and science-backed optimism. Scalp health deserves to sit alongside skin health as a foundational part of how people care for themselves. The RoleThe Director, Consumer Strategy & Integrated Marketing will lead KilgourMD's strategic marketing efforts, owning go-to-market 360 launch strategy, including brand campaigns, out-of-home and experiential, partnerships and influencer, PR and events. Reporting to the Chief Brand Officer, and working closely alongside our Directors of Creative and Social Media, you will manage comprehensive go-to-market planning so that every consumer touchpoint carries one coherent, culturally resonant narrative, and so that our clinical evidence is represented accurately everywhere it appears, and in a consumer-friendly form. You will collaborate cross-functionally with our creative, product, growth, social, clinical and professional teams to turn business goals, clinical evidence and consumer insight into integrated launches andhigh-impact brand moments that are clear, compelling and commercially effective. This is a leadership and strategy role for someone who knows how to build brands that resonate and perform. We are looking for an organized brand builder who can concept big ideas, lead cross-functional teams, and manage execution from initial framework through post-launch analysis. What You Will Do Brand Strategy and Campaign DevelopmentOwn the brand strategy for key launches, campaigns and evergreen initiatives, translating business priorities, consumer insight, founder vision, product positioning, clinical evidence and cultural trends into clear, compelling directionWrite the campaign briefs and messaging frameworks that define the strategic idea, target consumer, key claims and the scientific data behind them, emotional benefit, and launch narrativeConcept breakthrough campaigns and build the architecture that connects TV and broadcast, IRL billboards and out-of-home, experiential, press and PR, social, influencer, paid media, email/SMS, professional and community into one storyPartner with our Director of Creative to keep campaign concepts strategically grounded, distinctly KilgourMD, and consistently executed across every consumer touchpointPartner with our Director of Social to align our storytelling across social media and influencer with the wider 360 marketing strategy. Out-of-Home, Broadcast and Brand ExperienceLead OOH strategy and execution: market and format selection, billboard and transit buys, media partner negotiation, production timelines and measurement, and act as the liaison between external agencies and our internal Creative teamPartner on TV and broadcast campaigns from concept and brief through production, media placement and performance read-outDesign the physical expression of the brand through activations, pop-ups and installations where a consumer meets KilgourMD in person for the first timeManage the budgets, vendors and production partners behind OOH & brand experience Partnerships, PR and EventsLead brand partnership, PR and event strategy across launches, community activations, press experiences, creator events, professional and clinical moments, and cultural programmingServe as the day-to-day lead for our PR agency: set direction and priorities, brief them, co-create story angles and campaign ideas alongside them, keep them tied to the launch calendar, and hold the work to our standardIdentify opportunities that build brand love, drive awareness, deepen community, and support key business prioritiesOwn event planning: concept, budget, guest strategy and recap, managing our agency and event planner through design, production and on-site executionPartner with agencies, vendors, and internal teams to ensure every partnership, PR moment, and event feels additive, ownable, on-brand, and connected to the broader GTM strategy Reporting and Post-Launch AnalysisEstablish KPIs and success benchmarks for GTM strategies, brand moments, PR outreach, events and collaborations before they launchAssess impact with team leads across brand awareness, digital engagement, community expansion, earned media value and commercial conversion, and synthesize post-campaign recapsPartner with Brand (including Creative and Social Media), Growth and Finance to tie quantitative impact and forecasts to campaign plans, and manage budget against them How We’ll Measure SuccessRevenue, sales growth and market shareBrand awareness and recognitionROI and marketing effectivenessCampaign performance against the objectives set for each campaignBudget managementBrand equity and reputation, including consumer sentimentTeam leadership and development What You Will Bring7-10 years experience in brand marketing, ideally within beauty, health and wellness, or luxury goodsExperience leading cross-functional GTM planning and execution across creative, social, influencer, PR, ecommerce, partnerships, and eventsExceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tell compelling narratives across various channels and contextsDemonstrated success in growing brand awareness, engagement, and communityStartup-ready. Through the 360 marketing campaigns, out-of-home, launches and events, you will spark a conversation of empowerment and care and build a community around people the category has underserved for too long. You will receive the mandate to build our consumer marketing from here, playing an integral role in shaping one of the fastest-growing e-commerce brands. You will work directly with our Chief Brand Officer, Directors or Creative and Social, and senior leadership from day one, with high autonomy and real executive exposure.
