About the role
Vynamic is a consulting firm that partners with leading pharmaceutical and life sciences companies to address strategic, operational, and organizational challenges. The Director role serves as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, focusing on areas such as strategic planning, vendor selection, process design, systems implementation, and organizational change.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic advisor to pharmaceutical and life sciences clients, aligning engagement objectives with business priorities across the product lifecycle
- Lead complex engagements spanning areas such as commercialization strategy, launch planning, operating model design, and transformation initiatives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across functions (e.g., Commercial, Medical Affairs, Market Access, R&D, and Operations)
- Drive execution of client initiatives, ensuring high-quality deliverables and measurable business impact
- Identify emerging client needs and industry trends (e.g., market access pressures, digital transformation, evolving regulatory landscape) and translate them into new opportunities
- Contribute to business development efforts by expanding existing accounts and supporting new client acquisition
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams, fostering ownership, growth, and a collaborative culture
- Ensure clarity, rigor, and quality in all client deliverables, including executive-level presentations and strategic recommendations
- Proactively manage risks, timelines, and competing priorities across multiple engagements
- Build Vynamic’s presence in the pharma sector through thought leadership, industry insights, and participation in relevant forums
- Support recruiting efforts by engaging with and attracting top talent to the firm
- Foster a culture aligned with Vynamic’s values, emphasizing collaboration, excellence, and impact
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 6–8+ years of experience at a leading consulting firm (life sciences-focused consulting experience preferred)
- Demonstrated experience leading engagements within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
- Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical value chain, including drug development, commercialization, market access, and lifecycle management
- Experience in one or more of Vynamic’s core service areas, with application in pharma contexts:
- Strategic Planning (e.g., portfolio strategy, launch readiness)
- Vendor Selection & Management (e.g., outsourcing models, partner ecosystems)
- Process Design (e.g., commercial operations, medical affairs processes)
- Systems Implementation (e.g., CRM, data & analytics platforms)
- Organizational Change (e.g., transformations, operating model shifts)
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and advise senior client stakeholders
- Proven ability to identify, shape, and convert business development opportunities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging executive audiences
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, develop talent, and drive high performance
- Strong problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and comfort with ambiguity
- Resilience and adaptability in fast-paced, evolving environments
- Alignment with and embodiment of Vynamic’s brand and values
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and 6-8+ years of experience at a leading consulting firm, with a focus on life sciences. They should have a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical value chain and experience in strategic planning, vendor selection, process design, systems implementation, and organizational change. A strong executive presence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead and mentor teams are also essential.

Vynamic offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $170,000 - $200,000 USD, along with comprehensive benefits.
