Job Summary
Invesco is seeking a Director, Consultant Relations to join the Institutional Consultant Relations Team. This role partners with the team of Managing Directors, Consultant Relations to execute the strategic plan, focusing on engaging investment consultants to achieve buy ratings, OCIO platform allocations, and new institutional mandates.
Responsibilities
- Serving as an example of a high-performance culture to ensure a strong pace of execution for consultants.
- Alligning consultants' research priorities with Invesco's leading capabilities to elevate brand awareness and deepen relationships.
- Partnering with Managing Directors to maintain and build relationships with significant investment consultants, leading the effort on a few additional firms.
- Collaborating with Investment Teams to ensure ongoing alignment of ratings, opportunity pipeline, RFPs, assets-at-risk, search activity, and industry trends.
- Maintaining key intelligence on consultant firms' research priorities by engaging directly with research staff, reviewing Capital Market Assumptions, manager search reports, and other relevant intel.
- Credibly representing the voice of consultants at Invesco, sharing frequent insights with key internal stakeholders.
- Coordinating with Sales team to achieve organic AUM and revenue growth targets with institutional investors.
Requirements
- A strong network of relationships with top consultant firms.
- Exceptional investment acumen, with strong expertise in manager due diligence, portfolio analytics, portfolio construction, and capital markets.
- Expert sales discipline, with a proven history of a consultative, client-centric sales process.
- Strong working knowledge across a full range of investment capabilities and various investment vehicles.
- 10+ years of experience with institutional consultants and/or clients.
- Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
- CFA, CAIA, MBA or similar accreditations (or progress toward) is preferred, but not required.
- Series 7 and 63 required.
Benefits
The salary range for this position is $200,000 to $225,000/year. The total compensation includes salary and incentive pay and varies based on skills, experience, and location. This is a full-time position with a flexible work schedule.
