About the Role

This is the first dedicated hire to help build out BridgeBio's compliance program, a rare opportunity to shape something real from the ground up at a company whose mission is getting medicines to patients who've waited long enough. In this role, you will co-create training, policy, and engagement initiatives alongside our Head of Compliance, ensuring our people learn, understand, and live our compliance standards. Your work will directly impact how our global, diverse workforce makes decisions with integrity while moving faster in service of our mission. We're building this program with an AI-first mindset, leveraging automation and AI-enabled tools to make training and policy sharper and more memorable.

Responsibilities

  • Training Strategy & Content
    • Build a comprehensive, risk-based compliance training strategy tailored to BridgeBio’s operations and the regulatory landscape (FDA, OIG, DOJ, EMA).
    • Serve as the go-to advisor to the Head of Compliance on training-related risks, translating changes in law, enforcement trends, and our risk profile into actionable updates.
    • Design, build, and oversee delivery of training content using modern authoring tools, covering Code of Conduct, anti-bribery/anti-corruption, healthcare compliance, data privacy, and other core areas in collaboration with Legal and cross-functional partners.
    • Make training engaging and role-specific for a global workforce, using a mix of e-learning, live sessions, workshops, and microlearning for maximum impact.
  • Compliance Culture & Programming
    • Develop signature events like Compliance Week and Data Protection/Privacy Day into engaging, story-driven experiences rather than routine annual training.
    • Establish committees and working groups to sustain compliance culture year-round, involving champions from across the business and affiliates.
    • Tailor content and format for BridgeBio’s hub-and-spoke model, ensuring relevance for both headquarters and affiliate teams.
  • Policy Management
    • Own the full lifecycle of BridgeBio’s compliance policy framework, ensuring every policy is clear, easy, and actionable.
    • Refine legal language into accessible, user-friendly policies, setting a review cadence to prevent outdated content.
    • Translate changes in law, guidance, and enforcement trends into timely policy updates, aligning them with training.
    • Reimagine the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics as an energizing, flagship document employees are proud to reference.
  • Communication & Global Consistency
    • Maintain consistent global training and policy standards while allowing regional customization for the U.S., Europe, and international teams.
    • Collaborate with People team, Corporate Communications, Affiliates, and International to ensure rollout, localization, and reinforcement land effectively.
    • Support Compliance Committee logistics, agendas, and materials, enabling the Head of Compliance to focus on strategy.
  • Measurement, Technology & Audit Readiness
    • Establish KPIs to measure whether training and policy change behavior, not just completion rates.
    • Run training needs assessments and risk assessments to prioritize initiatives.
    • Ensure audit readiness by maintaining thorough documentation of training and policy efforts.
    • Own the compliance training technology stack, optimizing for AI-enabled learning and gamification where effective.
  • Vendor Leadership
    • Manage external vendors and consultants, including instructional designers, LMS platforms, and localization partners.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in compliance, legal, or learning and development roles in biotech or pharma, with hands-on experience building and running compliance training and policy programs.
  • Direct experience building training content in modern instructional design tools, not just editing vendor-provided materials.
  • Proven ability to transform drafted policy language into clear, actionable content for a general audience, owning the full policy lifecycle (review cycles, retiring outdated content, mapping to regulatory requirements).
  • Working knowledge of core healthcare compliance frameworks (AKS, FCA, transparency reporting) to ensure training and policy accuracy.
  • Hands-on experience with learning management systems and training technology stacks, including platform evaluation and optimization.
  • Experience designing and running culture or engagement initiatives (e.g., Compliance Week, awareness campaigns).
  • A bias toward automation and AI-enabled tools to enhance training, policy, or reporting.
  • Global mindset with comfort building programs that flex across jurisdictions, cultures, and time zones.
  • Vendor management experience.
  • High accountability and comfort working independently.
