Director, Compliance

This role will provide business-aligned guidance focused on governance, compliance, and operational risk management. You will partner with leaders, compliance stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate complex issues into practical recommendations. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen responsible execution, improve decision-making, and support sustainable growth within a healthcare environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain an effective compliance program aligned with regulatory and organizational requirements
• Monitor changes in healthcare laws, regulations, and industry standards and assess organizational impact
• Establish compliance policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate risk and promote adherence to applicable regulations
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations
• Investigate compliance concerns, regulatory inquiries, and reported violations
• Direct ongoing auditing and monitoring activities to evaluate compliance effectiveness
• Promote a culture of compliance and ethical conduct throughout the organization

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Law, Finance, or related field
• 8+ years of progressive healthcare compliance, regulatory, audit, risk management, or revenue cycle leadership experience
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams and compliance programs
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, CMS, OIG guidance
• Demonstrated experience conducting investigations, audits, and risk assessments
• Excellent communication, presentation, and executive stakeholder management skills

Pay

$130,000 – $165,000 annually
