About the role

We are searching for the best talent for a Director, Communications - Advanced Surgical Instruments. This role will sit out of or Santa Clara California or Cincinnati, Ohio office on a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Create strategic communications programs that drive business outcomes
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop thought leadership and earned/owned media strategy
  • Create high-quality written and visual content across multiple formats
  • Manage complex workflows and multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate and influence without authority across matrixed teams
  • Build and deploy an integrated global communications plan

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field
  • 10+ years of professional experience in communications, marketing communications, public affairs, or related fields
  • Demonstrated experience creating high-quality written and visual content across multiple formats
  • Experience working cross-functionally with matrixed teams and managing complex workflows

Qualifications

  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
  • Familiarity with digital, social, and multimedia communication platforms
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and influence without authority

Pay

The anticipated base pay range for this position is: $172,000.00 - $297,850.00
