Director, Commercial Strategy & Performance (Partner)

About The Role
The Director, Commercial Strategy & Performance (Partner) will drive the commercial success and long-term growth of FOX One's strategic distribution and platform partnerships. This role defines the performance strategy across key partner channels, translates business objectives into scalable growth initiatives, and ensures partner investments deliver meaningful subscriber acquisition, paid conversion, and long-term customer value. Working cross-functionally with Business Development, Product, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, and Operations, you will connect commercial strategy with execution using data-driven insights to optimize partner performance and identify new growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Own the commercial performance and growth strategy for partnerships—set and track subscriber, paid conversion, and LTV targets.
- Contribute to the overall performance scorecard for partner health and risk management.
- Partner with Channel Partner leads to identify growth areas within partnerships, such as lifecycle programs, feature expansion, and offers, turning partnership goals into actionable initiatives.
- Align offer strategies across all verticals with broader FOX One business objectives, customer acquisition goals, and monetization strategy.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Operations teams to define partner-related feature requirements, offer capabilities, and prioritization needs.
- Develop high-quality presentations, partner performance summaries, business cases, and risk assessments for senior leadership.
Requirements
- Typically, 10+ years of experience leading partner growth, business operations, distribution strategy, or monetization functions within a direct-to-consumer, streaming, subscription, or platform-based business.
- Demonstrated success managing platform, OEM, channel, or distribution partnerships that drive subscriber acquisition, paid conversion, and long-term customer value.
- Strong strategic and analytical capabilities, with experience evaluating partner performance, offer effectiveness, investment tradeoffs, and growth opportunities.
- Proven ability to influence and partner effectively across Business Development, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and Operations in a matrixed organization.
- Experience driving cross-functional execution and operational rigor across complex partner ecosystems and business initiatives.
- Excellent executive communication skills, synthesizing complex business performance into clear insights and recommendations.
- Regular on-site attendance (minimum 3 days per week) is required.
Skills
- Experience scaling a multi-channel streaming or subscription business (preferred).
- Background in platform distribution, OEM partnerships, or channel monetization (preferred).
- Experience launching or growing new partner-led subscription or bundled offerings (preferred).
- Familiarity with media, sports, or entertainment ecosystems (preferred).
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Pay
The pay range for this role is $179,000.00–$240,000.00 annually, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and various benefits, including medical/dental/vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits. Benefits for Union-represented employees will align with applicable collective bargaining agreements.
