Director, Commercial Legal - Global Partners & Alliances

Overview

The team applies a programmatic mindset to scale support and collaborate with stakeholders across Legal and the business.

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and advise on partner agreements and transactions
• Support the Partners & Alliances organization in developing programs, policies, and offerings, and advise on complex legal and business issues
• Develop and implement strategies for effectively scaling support of the Partners & Alliances organization
• Engage with teammates on other key Transformation and Scale and Commercial Legal initiatives, such as contract drafting and playbooks
• Collaborate with diverse viewpoints to improve work products
• Use Atlassian products to understand the business and collaborate with peers and stakeholders

Qualifications

• 7+ years practicing law
• Juris Doctor and license to practice law in a US jurisdiction
• In-house experience at a technology company, preferably in B2B SaaS
• A knack for distilling complex concepts into clear language and pragmatic solutions
• Demonstrated success supporting a global partner organization
• Demonstrated success in a dynamic, fast-paced, and matrixed organization
• Growth mindset

Pay

Compensation at Atlassian aims to be equitable, explainable, and competitive. The base pay range for new hires in the United States varies by geographic pay zone:

• Zone A: $229,500 - $299,625
• Zone B: $206,500 - $269,663
• Zone C: $190,400 - $248,689
