About the role
The Performance & Rewards team within POps Products is responsible for global broad based compensation owning significant global compensation budgets, representing a material portion of Google’s annual operating expenses. The team supports Google's high performance culture by designing and administering competitive compensation packages, and impactful recognition initiatives across Google’s global footprint.
Responsibilities
- Drive partnership with Google Cloud leadership and people partners (HR Business Partners) to align compensation with business strategy.
- Lead the team that will administer broad-based programs, provide feedback on their effectiveness, and facilitate outcomes through designing and iterating on processes and policies to meet business outcomes, yield the right experience, and scale with organizational growth.
- Interpret compensation data and analytics to proactively provide recommendations to the business on compensation levers to drive their talent strategy.
- Ensure compensation programs are equitably administered and compliant with recent legislative changes and aligned with Google and Google Cloud’s vision.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Finance, Business Administration, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of HR experience.
- 10 years of experience in compensation.
- 2 years of experience in people management.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a multinational or complex organization.
- Familiarity with the complexity of the current AI talent market.
- Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Pay
$264000 - $367000 (USD) + 30% bonus target + equity + benefits
