Director-Clinical Talent Pipelines
About the role
Indiana University Health is seeking a Director of Clinical Talent Pipelines to lead the development, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-wide strategies that create sustainable pathways into clinical careers at IU Health. This leader is responsible for designing and managing talent pipeline programs that engage individuals across the workforce continuum, from pipelines to practice, including college learners, career changers, and early-career professionals.
The Director collaborates with healthcare operations, community organizations, workforce agencies, and internal stakeholders to strengthen recruitment pipelines for critical clinical occupations. This role ensures workforce development investments align with organizational workforce priorities and contribute to a reliable, competent, and future-ready clinical workforce.
Key Relationships
Reports to: Vice President-Clinical Workforce Development
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Education, Public Health, Organizational Leadership, or a related field is required.
- 8+ years of relevant experience.
- 4+ years of people leader experience.
- Progressive leadership experience in workforce development, talent acquisition, education, healthcare operations, or related areas.
- Experience developing workforce pipelines and strategic partnerships.
- Experience leading enterprise-wide programs and initiatives.
- Experience within a healthcare system or academic health center.
- Experience managing workforce grants and public funding opportunities is preferred.
- Knowledge of healthcare workforce trends and labor market dynamics is preferred.
