Requirements

You Have:

  • 7+ years of experience in revenue operations, finance, or commercial strategy
  • Strong financial acumen: you can build a margin model, interpret a P&L, and make commercial recommendations grounded in real numbers
  • Direct experience managing contracts and commercial relationships with clients or customers
  • Proven track record of building operational systems that enabled a company or team to scale not just maintaining existing processes
  • Comfort with technology and a genuine understanding of how AI is changing business operations (you don't need to be technical, but you need to be fluent)
  • Excellent communication skills—you can represent the company's commercial interests in a room with a CFO as easily as with a marketing director

Nice to Have

  • Background in or exposure to digital marketing, growth marketing, or performance marketing agencies
  • Experience with tools like HubSpot, ClickUp, or similar CRM/project management platforms
  • Familiarity with agency economics: utilization, blended rates, scope-based vs. retainer pricing models
  • Experience at a company that scaled from $5-10M to $15-25M+ in revenue—you know what breaks at that stage and how to fix it
  • MBA or CPA a plus, but not required if you have the right operational experience
