Position Overview

The Center for Global Engagement (CGE) at Florida State University (FSU) seeks a strategic and experienced leader to serve as its next Director. Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Student Affairs, the Director will oversee various aspects of international education, intercultural engagement, and global learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee International Student and Scholar Services, Global Exchanges, the Global Citizenship Certificate, and intercultural programs.
  • Work closely with partners across Student Affairs, Academic Affairs, and the Office of the Provost to advance FSU's internationalization goals.
  • Support global learning and student success initiatives.
  • Represent the Center for Global Engagement in institutional and external partnerships.

Requirements

  • A master's degree and at least six years of relevant experience (or a bachelor's degree and eight years of experience), with a doctorate preferred.
  • Leadership experience in international education, student affairs, or a related field.
  • Expertise in immigration compliance, global programming, organizational management, and cross-campus collaboration.
  • The ability to build partnerships, lead complex operations, and advance institutional priorities through innovation and teamwork.
