About the role
The Linda T. and John A. Mellowes Center for Genomic Sciences and Precision Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) is seeking a visionary and research-focused leader to serve as the Director. This role will guide the Center’s next phase of innovation, discovery, and transformative impact.
Responsibilities
- Shape strategic priorities and foster cross-disciplinary collaborations
- Optimize operations and promote educational and scholarly initiatives
- Translate precision medicine research breakthroughs into clinical practice
- Lead an exceptional team of scientists and clinicians
- Position MCW as a national hub for discovery
Requirements
- PhD in Genetics, Genomics, Bioinformatics, or related field
- Proven track record in research and leadership
- Experience in managing interdisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
Qualifications
- Exceptional scientific and leadership abilities

- Experience in securing external funding

Pay
The salary range for this position is $200,000 - $250,000, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The Director will work a standard Monday through Friday schedule, typically 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
