About the role
We are seeking a Director, Category Management to take ownership of initiatives that drive the P&L, focusing on acquisition, retention, conversion, and new-treatment launches. This role requires deep expertise in category management, strategy, and operations, with a proven track record of driving measurable outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Take end-to-end ownership of initiatives that impact the P&L, including acquisition, retention, conversion, and new-treatment launches.
- Own the unit economics behind these initiatives, including CAC, LTV, ARPU, S2S, and contribution margin.
- Size and prioritize initiatives, framing the opportunity and making recommendations on what gets built and when.
- Partner with growth and lifecycle teams to lift acquisition, S2S conversion, and retention across the funnel.
- Develop pricing, bundling, and merchandising strategies that protect margin and LTV.
- Identify, prioritize, and launch new treatments, SKUs, and programs, ensuring alignment with business case and forecasts.
- Build repeatable playbooks for new treatments, working closely with clinical and pharmacy teams to ensure safety and speed.
- Deliver a premium, empathetic, and destigmatizing customer experience, testing the journey from first touch to fulfillment and ongoing care.
- Lead cross-functional execution, setting clear priorities and success criteria, and managing growth-ops and analytics resources.
- Own the scorecard for your initiatives, reporting performance in business reviews and treating compliance as a competitive advantage.
Requirements
- 7+ years in category management, strategy & operations, general management, or a related role with real business accountability.
- A track record of owning high-stakes initiatives or a P&L and driving them to measurable revenue, margin, or retention outcomes.
- Demonstrated success launching and scaling new products or programs, from 0-to-1 and at scale.
- Sharp analytical and financial fluency, building and defending models, and making decisions when data is limited.
- Cross-functional leadership that aligns clinical, product, growth, and operations behind one plan.
- Bias to action: MVP, learn, iterate, over over-engineering.
- The ambition and range to grow into a GM role owning a category outright.

- DTC, telehealth, or consumer health experience.
