Director, Business Systems – Sourcing, Procurement, Spend Analytics (Source to Pay)
About the role
We are seeking a strategic and analytically-minded Director of Business Systems to lead our Sourcing, Procurement, and Spend Analytics initiatives in a remote capacity across the United States.
Responsibilities
- Direct the strategy, implementation, and optimization of Source-to-Pay systems and processes, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry best practices
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of business systems analysts, procurement specialists, and technical professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability
- Develop and execute comprehensive spend analytics programs to identify cost-saving opportunities, supplier performance insights, and procurement risk mitigation strategies
- Oversee the integration and management of procurement technology platforms, including ERP systems, e-procurement tools, and analytics solutions
- Design and implement process improvements across sourcing, procurement, and vendor management functions to enhance efficiency and reduce cycle times
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and IT to align procurement systems with broader business initiatives
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to monitor procurement metrics, spend trends, and system performance
- Lead vendor management initiatives, including contract negotiations, performance evaluations, and relationship optimization
- Champion digital transformation and automation initiatives to streamline procurement workflows and enhance data visibility
- Provide executive-level reporting and insights on procurement performance, cost savings, and strategic recommendations
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls
Qualifications
- 12+ years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain management, or related business operations
- 5+ years in a director-level or senior management position with demonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Source-to-Pay systems, including implementation, configuration, and optimization
- Experience in Process optimizations using Agentic AI preferred
- Advanced proficiency in spend analytics, data analysis, and business intelligence tools
- Expertise in ERP systems (Oracle Fusion cloud)
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and contract administration
- Demonstrated ability to identify and drive cost optimization and savings initiatives

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Proven track record of leading successful digital transformation and process improvement projects
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence executive stakeholders
