As Director of Business Development, you’ll lead the charge in winning new business, building strong client relationships, and turning complex needs into smart, customer-focused solutions. This role supports Financial Services and Technology clients, so you’ll thrive in fast-paced, high-touch environments where strategy, precision, and credibility matter. You’ll partner across teams and with executive-level stakeholders to grow pipeline, close deals, and stand out in a competitive market.
Responsibilities
- Building and managing a strong pipeline of qualified prospects and turning opportunities into wins
- Leading consultative sales conversations with procurement, sales, marketing, and executive-level decision makers
- Working in structured, detail-oriented environments like Financial Services and fast-moving, innovation-driven spaces like Technology
- Developing customized SMMP and enterprise solutions that align with client goals and business needs
- Navigating complex pricing, financial data, negotiations, and internal collaboration to move deals forward
Requirements
- 8+ years of proactive B2B sales experience, including large-scale or complex deal cycles
- Deep knowledge of advanced Meetings Management practices and Strategic Meetings Management programs
- A strong track record of uncovering new revenue streams within existing accounts and new markets
- An entrepreneurial mindset with a resourceful, analytical approach to prospecting and solution design
- Experience representing a business at industry events and building networks of champions, coaches, and partners
Qualifications
- This role is virtual and operated in the Central or Eastern time zones
- There may be up to 50% travel required for this role

Pay
The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Director Business Development, SMM Accounts is between $90,000 - $100,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
